Coolant Tank - Supplemental Chip Tray Strainer Kit - Introduction

This procedure tells you how to install an optional polyester filter (“STRAINER”). This filter removes very small particles (200-micron) from the coolant.

Machine Compatibility

Machines with a 20-, 48-, 55- or 95-gallon coolant tank made after November 2011.

Machines built after March 31, 2017 no longer include the chip tray.

Step 1

Put a STRAINER [A] across the top and around the sides of the WIRE BASKET [B].

Put the WIRE BASKET [B] into the clean chip tray [1].

Install the assembly [2] into the coolant tank.

Conclusion

For replacement strainers use P/N: 30-10904, SUPPLEMENTAL CHIP TRAY STRAINER KIT. This kit has (10) P/N 59-1279; CHIP BASKET STRAINER.
